2、 Product application:
HY635 has high thickening efficiency and can be used as the preferred thickener or synergistic thickener for water-based coatings. At relatively low dosage, HY635 can effectively improve the medium shear (KU) viscosity.
Compared with medium and high molecular weight cellulose thickeners, HY635 can improve the flowability and leveling performance of coatings, improve the splash resistance of coatings, and improve the stability of microorganisms and enzymes when used alone as a thickener,

Precautions for use:
1. Adjust the pH value of the system to 8-9;
2. Dilute with water in a 1:1 ratio;
3. Under low speed stirring, slowly add diluted HY635 to the specified viscosity;
4. It can be used alone or in combination with other thickeners, such as HY635, which provides high shear viscosity, to achieve an ideal balance of viscosity at different shear rates;
5. Adding a small amount of surfactants or ethylene glycol ether co solvents to reduce low shear (Brookfield) viscosity can change the rheological properties of HY635, and adding some pre dispersed pigments (color pastes) can also produce this effect.
